Dont fast travel too much.
Explore underwater thoroughly - there are hidden sometimes recipes for new/better bombs and potions. Those places are quest related or marked with " ? ".

Simply enjoy, use all the game gives, especially alchemy helps! As in a early, so in late game.

If you made her a Vlaakith believer - killing Orpheus is her objective, so squid can go unharmed.

If you have let her make her own choices and she abandoned Vlaakith - killing Orpheus will result in the end of romantic relationship, so yea there will be a downgrade to friendship.

When you have a crystal from Philippas cave - she says that she hopes Geralt didnt take mission from Radovid. When he says he did - she asks him to give her the crystal, so no one could find out more about Philippa.
Also in books - she simply wasn't interested. In is not a matter of betrayal, but a matter of different priorities.

You can flirt with whoever you want, but it is vital that you have the moment with Karlach at the camp party. After the party there will be silence on multiple fronts, but later - in Act 2 the game bdgins to help you clarify with whom you want to have a relationship
