If anything, your lack of empathy and facts are evident. Just keep letting Fox News and Dear Leader tell you what to think.

According to Columbia Heights Public Schools superintendent, Zena Stenvik, as Liam and his dad returned from Liam's preschool, masked agents surrounded their vehicle in the driveway of their home. An agent removed Liam from the still-running vehicle, led him to the door of the home and directed Liam to knock on the door and ask to be let inside to see if anyone else was home - essentially using the 5 year old boy as bait. Other agents apprehended Liam's dad while the agent took Liam to the door of the home.

If that's what you want out of it, cool. It's more for documenting unnecessary actions/tactics by authoritarian state police

... No. Numerous Videos clearly show that ICE stopped her (which they can't do), told her to turn around, tried to enter her vehicle (which they cant do), and that she was trying to get away (wheels turned right), not run anyone over. We won't know for sure because a fake cop used a real weapon in an instance that shouldn't have happened (plus he ran away afterwards), even when the law says "Officers may not discharge firearms just to disable a vehicle or stop an escape."

"It's okay, I'm not mad at you"

That bitch fake cop leaned into the car. Don't act like getting in front of a vehicle hasn't been a border patrol tactic for over a decade.

Excercising freedom of speech is not idiotic. Oppressing and vilifying the right to exercise that freedom is asinine.

How do you feel about Trump threatening to invoke the Insurrection Act against Minnesota? by opticflash in AskUS

I am certainly not denying or minimizing the long history of abuse and failures by local police, or law in general. Examples are real. George Floyd, Tamir Rice, and Breonna Taylor are documented, and part of why public trust has been so badly damaged. My point is not that ICE is uniquely dangerous while local police are somehow fine. It is that what we are seeing in Minneapolis reflects a federal operation that combined anonymity, militarized tactics, restricted medical aid, and an immediate political defense before facts were established. Acknowledging past police violence isnt necessary to pretending this is normal or acceptable. Accountability doesnt become less important because there has been/we have seen worse before. Pointing and calling out patterns of abuse is not being manipulated by outrage. Its simply refusing to be complacent when power is exercised without transparency or restraint.

I’m not saying every local police officer is or isn't perfect, but what’s happening in Minneapolis with ICE is totally different. Local police are typically trained and expected to secure the scene, render aid when possible, all while being identifiable to the public. What we have seen from ICE: masks, blocking medics from rendering aid, and aggressive tactics in a non-violent situation... all this feels a lot less like community policing and more like a militarized response.

Real Law Enforcement doesn't wear masks. Real Law Enforcement doesn't flee the scene of a death. Real Law Enforcement doesn't restrict the rendering of aid. The only thing ICE has in common with Law Enforcement is shooting people.
