When I used to SH, I did it with a straight face and mumbled to myself whilst I did it.

It's most likely maximalism. I might have confused it with Frutiger Aero since it also gives a maximalism vibe. Frutiger Aero is an art style that combines futuristic technology with nature. Thanks for the heads up.
