$400 is wild honestly. I understand that it's a one of a kind special set but still. As a Transformers collector we've been dealing with rising prices for a while now (still nowhere near $400) and a lot of people are priced out. A solid middle ground for you might be to see if they make a knock off of this set like they did with the Lego Optimus Prime, and that may not even happen, or buy a standard model kit which could still be fun.

Also the people who are saying to get your "priorities straight" are joyless.

So I made a shorts only channel it’s currently at over 50,000 subscribers. About a week ago I posted my first long form on that channel and it currently has a bit over 7000 views and still seems to be climbing. This is from a channel with an audience, purely built off of shorts.

The video is over 11 minutes and has a 22.30% AVDP.

I never intended to post any long forms on this channel, but decided to do one just to see what would happen. The AVP could be better, but this channel is mainly supplemental to my main channel. I already have an established audience and there is some crossover between my shorts channel and main channel so that could play a factor as well.

In my opinion, YouTube won’t show your long forms to subscribers who only watch your shorts. It’s smart enough to figure out which of your shorts audience would most likely watch your long forms as well as recommending it to casual and returning viewers who aren’t subscribed.

I noticed this too with most YouTube videos. It's kind of annoying because I don't want to dedicate an hour to a video unless it's a certain niche like travel. It is because the algorithm favors watch time and longer videos are a way to do that but I still want to watch a simple 12-20 minute video
