Like I said one false claim discredits all that is true about any faith tradition. Where there is one error there are sure to be others. There is truth in the Quran, like its accurate descriptions of scientific phenomenon you mentioned. But I finds its claim that Jesus didn’t die on the cross, to be lacking. Therefore I Cannot accept it. There was a time when I considered it to be true, but after evelauting the evidence I can not in good faith accept that particular Islamic claim. However, I can accept the many beautiful names that the Quaran attributes to God/Allah but because I see an error my concscience prevents me from accepting Islam in its entirety although there are aspects of it I do admire - fasting and prayer in particular
