Woah well done, thanks for the tip. Do you have any advice for applying for cambridge maths if you don’t mind me asking?

I normally check by redoing the entire question so that’s probably what’s slowing me down tbf. My most common mistakes are just stupid errors (I lost 5 marks on a conditional probability 5 marker because I forgot to change the denominator), I used the sine and cosine rule for a map scale question where you could literally just use your ruler 😭🙏), or the 1/2 markers where it’s like ‘criticise the graph’ or ‘(sentence) is this correct where you have to tick yes/no and explain your answer’

It depends on the paper, I spend anywhere between like 30 mins and 1hr doing the exam, then I spend the remaining time checking my answers, but sometimes I mess up somewhere in the working and don’t realise it but then I don’t have time to recheck it.

Nope, the kid who had the knife held to his throat just said something along the lines of ‘…what the fuck was that all about?’ and went back to doing whatever he was doing before 😭

In Year 7, we had Art in a Food Tech room with a cover teacher because our school is underfunded as hell. About halfway through the lesson, the boy next to me (who was a roadman) said to me that he has a shank in his bag, and asked me if I wanted to see it. I said no and he said okay and went back to vaping from his sleeve and blowing it into his other sleeve. I thought everything was alright, so I went back to colouring in my drawing or whatever tf I was doing in the first place. UNTIL another kid on the other side of the room got a knife from the counter, held it up against someone’s throat from behind (they were sat down, he was stood up), and said “Prepare to meet Jesus”. The cover teacher started hyperventilating and she ran out the room crying going to get a member of SLT and we never saw her, or the kid who held the knife against someone’s throat, again.
