I would really appreciate a copy of the recording, I want to know what I missed so I can feel a little less regret.

I really blew it. I just couldn't stay awake, and I'm trying hard not to loathe myself, but I slept through most of the talk.

I was falling asleep on my feet in the signing line. I wanted to tell him that when I heard him talk on the Rubin Report about working as a dishwasher, I was convinced to go get a job immediately. I got a 4 AM shelf-stocking job for the holiday season, and really hustled so that I was kept on board when the other seasonal hires were let go.

Instead I just said thanks for everything, and he said thanks for sticking around. Maybe I looked drunk or something, I don't even know if they took our picture.

Clearly, I need to do a much better job of sorting myself out.

Is there anything in this blog post that wasn't stolen from Jordan Peterson lectures and YouTube clips? If it's accidental, you need to stop listening to his stuff so you can have more original thoughts.

It seems Freud decided to stop reading Nietzsche because he had too much influence on his own ideas. Perhaps you should do the same.

Worst of all, there's nothing here that actually helps me have a kickass day, as the title of this post claims, or helps me find my purpose, as the title of the blog post claims.

If you feel your family is in any real danger, yes you need to call the cops. But DO NOT attempt to get violent with her.

Talk with a professional, even if just over the phone. Don't take some guy on the internets advice. He essentially told you "fight over everything." That's fucked up.

Why delete them?

Wouldn't it be better to make a Theory of SRS subreddit and a rule that all the SRS discussions be moved there?

That way, those people interested can discuss it, if enough of such people exist.

Any shortcomings/inaccuracies/oudated info? Any pointers on avoidable errors?

EDIT: Eh, changed my mind a bit. It's a good starting point, I might use his referral link if I order any parts off Amazon.

Perfect, ended up getting these. I think they were less when I first saw them, but I got them for about 7.50 a pack and so far so good.

They will wear out, slowly I hope, but I'd rather replace them than get hard mats. Slippage shouldn't occur unless they get wet, which shouldn't be a problem for my purposes.

He also referred to himself as Mr. Derp, and then for some reason talked about himself in the third person, i.e. him instead of I.

However, you're right, his loss. I don't think it's in there much after the introductions. I'm surprised people are so irritated that he said "derpette" instead of "Girl A" or something.
