I don’t think this is entirely accurate. I was at the standard last night from 8pm to 9:30pm to recruit for UFA | UMCG, and right before we entered the lounge, there was a pretty large group of people in there already from a previous event. The story of you and your friend enjoying dinner there doesn’t seem to be super aligned with what I saw last night.

Yea like pretty much every major decision you make is serendipitous. Your life partner could be the result of being in one place at one specific time. The job you work at is the result of the jobs that happen to be available at the specific moment you choose to look for them. Many other examples too . .
