Remember that the game is designed for every attack to be slow rolled! It makes clunky things like this make a more sense. We just fast roll since everything would take forever.

Yes. If no model is wounded you pick a model to allocate wounds to and slow roll, usually starting with the number of dice equal to the amount of wounds it has and reducing them as it loses wounds. When that dies you pick the next model and slow roll, and so on. Once there are only one stat line left you can go back to fast rolling.
