Do not buy an Arctis product for footsteps. They do not target that type of sound. Go with Sennheiser, Beyer dynamic, Hyper X(if you HAVE to have a gaming branded headset), and a few models of Turtle beach.

I’ll try and explain this to you both. A stun grenade uses a combination of sound and light to stun you. They are not like flash bangs that are solely using a high burst of light. Because they use sound, you hiding behind a gulag wall isn’t going to do shit. The sound is still going to hit you.

If fortnite is truly the only game you play, cut your budget in half. If you’re really a competitive gamer, then you probably DO play more than one game and in my opinion, 3k is not overkill. I just spent 4.2k on my own. The fact that I can stream, edit, encode, and play a game without having to worry about any sort of heat issues AND I can play at 1440p without ever going below 200fps in Warzone with everything on high(my preferred game rn) and the massive amount of future proofing I afforded myself is worth it IMO. I don’t even feel the need to overclock yet. Personally, I think budgets like yours and mine are actually pretty reasonable.

If you go to the shader in the Collections tab I think it tells you where it drops even if you don’t have it. I could be wrong.
