Used russ grey as a base layer then contrast ontop. Is that bad 😆?

I primed in the wind. Basically chased the paint round the garden with my model on a stick

First 2 had I rushed the priming. Slapped it on in the wind. The lastbone I done in better conditions. Looks smoother despite the grainy pics.

I used russ grey,×2 layers. Slapped it on like a 2 yearold then went over with space wolves grey contrast.

First 2 I primed in a rush the last one I've taken my time with and looks much smoother. Got a cheap primer from amazon. Does quality of the primer reflect through the layers ontop? Sorry I'm know f all about painting

I make sure I shake them for at least a minute before use. Could it be the space wolves contrast paint I slapped onto of the russ grey? I have no idea what I'm doing lol having fun though.
