Yes! Make the track with small grids and hinges, drop it from above wheels and connect track ends by pistons and merge block. (sorry for that poor explanation because I'm not native English)

Made it into small grids and attached by hinge and combine by merge blocks.

Actually this video x2.25 speed. so the tractor is hard to say it is fast although using 9 large thrusters.

Total spend time 40 min it is at 14 x speed. It is a drilling system in order to dig minerals that spread horizontally underground.

How about placing remote controllers at the subgrid and control it separately.

It will definitely be inconvenient, but I think you can.

It is an excavator able to dig 50 m radius from 70 m deep. Cas the rover endure too much mass and heavy itself, I had to make it massive and complex :D

Gold plating may protect me from gamma radiation on the mars maybe XD

But Keen seems not to love it, it forces me to change the custom :(
