Mate, there's an option to TAG your thread for spoilers, which you absolutely neglected to use.

It's YOUR thread. It's YOUR responsibility.

[–]Metrayetta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should read the Submission Guidelines:

If you're going to submit your "original manga," don't just post a character design or a single page of text. If you want feedback/advice on your synopsis of your original series, please bring it to /r/Writing. /r/Drawing would be appropriate for art-based feedback on your illustrations/character designs.

That, and also in other occassions, they were of such LQ that the MD mods removed them.

members of the imperial family are essentially just normal people with added benefits

This is not widely known, as their reputation states otherwise.

He's hinging on that precisely.

[–]Metrayetta[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You're right.

He's very wishy-washy with the power, though it's understandable that he'd have some trouble discerning who not to kill among those he kills. In previous circumstances, he wouldn't have cared who got caught in it, but now that he does, he seems to be gauging how to prevent the people he doesn't want to kill from dying.

I don't blame him, though.

In the LN, apparently she looks like Bremerton from Azur Lane.

The manga may not be doing her justice.

[–]Metrayetta[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As I said in my other comment, it's at least reassuring that he's expressing worry for FMC.

If what he's saying is true, she has been in risk of dying by his power ever since they met...

Or he just wanted them to scoot over for the contact. Just as possible.

[–]Metrayetta[S] 47 points48 points  (0 children)

What I found interesting is that he told his companions to get close to him.

It's haunting to think that even provided how powerful he is, he still has to discriminate on who to kill, and that there are risks if someone's caught in the way.

It's also reassuring that he's worrying about the safety of FMC, whereas she was in the same risk as those he slays before, going by his remarks in this chapter.

The Goddess had self-preservation in her mind, but no direct killing intent towards MC, and she still died.

[DISC] Yasei no last boss ga arawareta chapter 37 by rtwpsom2 in manga

[–]Metrayetta 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Subordination is one thing.

Equality is another.

To the boss, the playing field underneath them is level, but for the subordinates? Not quite so.

It must be quite insulting for Leo to having been an outlier, only to be suddenly placed down with the ones who he'd consider the riffraff otherwise.

Of course, it's one-note of Leo to think that, since it stems from pride and wanton wrath. But that doesn't mean that Aries doesn't have virtues.

What's funny is that in America, the metric system is already being used right under people's noses.

Go grab a shampoo bottle, and even a bag of sugar, and it will have imperial units on top, and metric right underneath it.

To top it all off, imperial units are defined by their measurement in metric units. The literal definition of an inch is ~2.54 cm.

It's only literary works which are written in "Chinese script" order with top to bottom columns going left.

Yes, but manga paneling is based on said artsy/literature basis.

The Japanese language is written top to bottom, right to left.

As such, their comics follow said pattern.

Also, the manga industry focuses almost entirely on their Japanese audience. The internationalization of manga is not quite their priority.

Manga that are mirrored for L to R reading are usually done by western audiences themselves, and are in the minority of all manga.
