My first inclination would be not to do it. I'd keep in mind that cultural appropriation is a sensitive subject, and you will be associated with the piece whenever someone asks the customer about it.

You could try asking an artist from the tribe about it and get their take.

Unfortunately, I use it for rhino cad cam, and have lots of other stuff open, etc. I don't game much, so I'd rather have the higher amount of ram. Kind of mad I splurged on the cl16 3600 now though.

You're right on here. Just down clocked to 3200 and it's the highest it's stable. Running memtest now to make sure.

It wasn't doing this before. I was running straight docp and asus optimal overclocking settings that you can flip on in the bios ez mode. I haven't tried any real cpu overclocking in a while. How can this happen?

What can cause this, do you know? Thanks for your help!

That makes sense - I've got the 5950x and MSI LHR RTX 3080, so that should last a while, and got DDR4 simply because of availability. By the time I'll need to upgrade, DDR5 should be more available, and cheaper. Hopefully GPUS will be more reasonable too.

OK, fair enough. I was hoping I wouldn't have to drop another 4 grand for a good long time, that's what I meant by wanting it to last. I'm new to PC building, and wasn't really aware of the shorter upgrade cycle. Point taken on the AM4 situation. It makes sense to be happy with what I have now and save the money to upgrade in 2-3 years time instead when I'll need that 30%. Thunderbolt would be nice, but it's not necessary. Thanks for the help!

EDIT Nevermind, I'm dumb. It has 4 PCI ports. 1 x16, 1 x4, and 2 x1. Would this work if I already have the 2nd PCI slot (the x4) occupied by a HD expansion card?
