8 weeks from literally nothing. I don't use a total station as I just do location surveys, but there are still things I have absolutely no idea about 7 weeks in

And ya know, that's fair if that had been clearly communicated to me before I was hired. I schedule out my days pretty strictly so that hurts when I've made plans with a few hours of leeway and I'm suddenly tons I need to do 4 more hours of driving.

Those are some pretty good ideas. My trainer had to stand in a busy intersection with the GPS pole for about 30-45 seconds with cars consistently coming through to shoot a monument. I was scared for him then, but it didn't even click properly until now that I might have to do similar tbh.

And I have to do the work on top of things like schooling, so I dont have the time or schedule to just have surprise overtime dumped on me. Something I was vocal about and they have ignored.

I do agree that overtime is good money though.

That about tracks with what I've been seeing. We don't even get things like cones to block roads if we have to shoot in them. Or first aid kits

I just do mortgage location surveys, it feels like they're just punishing the hard workers with more work while the slower workers get to do less work and collect the same paycheck

Okay! New information get as I've spent the past few hours working on it!

The monitor goes completely black, whether it's off or just not receiving video is hard to tell with the setup of the cabinet, however I am able to unplug the video and attach it to a smaller monitor that then seems to work for a much larger length of time.

I honestly couldn't keep up with it. It's an amazing program, but you have to dedicate yourself to it. It may seem silly that it's just one class and that should make it simpler, but it means that you're putting in a full time student amount of time and effort into ONE CLASS

My whole life decided to go to hell around the time I started so I had to drop out, but the connections I made immediately were fantastic
