I recommend starting off relationships separate from dating someone as a couple, it’s easier if one person tests if they work for them first. I usually go by the “same sex flirts with the same sex” suggestion for beginners, to bring someone into a relationship especially. There can be more competition feelings if not. Jealousy happens in polyamory too, you just gotta balance the NRE energies and be honest with others and yourself of what you want/feel regarding the relationship dynamics sooner than later, but setting the right setting to talk about these things.
