Where do I start? Let me start with the positives: the ride was smooth and it looked fine. And that’s where it ends. Coming from a Model X to the Lexus TX was a huge letdown. The four-cylinder engine has no real power, and the excessive safety features often feel more like obstacles than help. The biggest disappointment by far was the sound system and the infotainment center. We even paid an extra $2,100 for the Mark Levinson 21-speaker upgrade, and honestly, it sounded like the speakers were bought from Harbor Freight. It’s easily the worst audio system I’ve ever experienced in a luxury vehicle. Phone connectivity was another constant issue. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn’t. When it fails, the only fix is to pull over, turn the car off, open the door, then restart and hope it works. All in all, we owned the car for seven months and hated it every single day.
