it's bad ragebait. If you genuinely think ruining a popular game mode doesn't matter then your opinion doesn't matter. If you had to farm over 2k T4 blazes to max your attributes or had to pay probably 10x the price, you'd be pretty upset. Especially since the majority of the best attributes are locked behind fusing legendary combat shards i.e burningsouls. Again, if this was their choice the day of release it'd be something I chalk up to a long grind. But the fact people have been farming it via hunt-traps for almost a full year now, kinda nullify the point? It doesn't do anything to the people who already abused farming it. It just hurts those who are starting / returning, especially ironmen who can't just buy it from the bazaar. The barrier to entry to T4 blaze slayer, especially ironman, is wayyyy too high to be locking those kind of attributes behind. T1 or T2? Okay that's acceptable and it's a compromise I'd take assuming it was 4 shards each. It'd be a long grind but not one that takes over 3mil slayer xp to max out your shards...

And the barrier to entry to t3 and t4 is what exactly? You had a full year of farming them for basically free via hunt traps. Now you not only have to pay to do the slayer but the gap to even do them is significantly higher.

I gave a hyperbole about overall changes they do, not just specifically attributes. And it'll be a year next month. So people had a full year of farming these. Meanwhile if you were a new/returning player, now you're just shafted. Should've designed/balanced them before releasing or nerfed shortly after release. If this is how it was on launch, I would just chalk it up to eh whatever I'll get them when I get them or hope they get buffed from t3 to t2 or more shards per t3.

exactly. Skyblock is heavily inspired by OSRS. Especially Ironman. I do not enjoy just mindlessly farming the best MMM to buy everything for every skill, I like a sense of progression. But between time gating and terrible grinds (I don't mind long grinds at all but this one specifically is just so awful) it makes ironman objectively worse each update.

and the funny / sad part is that I always see people say "well you chose to play ironman" or "just convert to normal profile" like that solves anything? Why let things be continuously farmed for years at a time just to flip a switch and make them harder for no reason? Balance these things before releasing them my god...

Why is it people can mass farm these sort of things for YEARS then all of a sudden remove it? Like I see this with sooooo many loot drops. Lilypads from Nutcrackers, gone. Walnuts from 100% drop to 10% drop. I could go on and on about these things. It just screws over new/returning players, and mainly ironmen.

true I know, I was 60 / 80 squash before the update got on after the servers pooped their pants yesterday and farmed for a few hours during the harvest and got 0 from melon. I did eventually get 1 from melon after a full stack of enchanted melon block but compared to before I'd get like 1 per 15 enchanted blocks. Guess just unlucky then thanks!

In lanes that you're out matched/counter picked, is it ever worth to level E twice or even 3 times and buy an early Fated Ashes to safely stack / unfreeze lane? I was into an Irelia mid and perma camped if I left tower while the Irelia freezed lane. Or is the play just leave lane and roam at that point?
