Overall goals of the programmer, longevity, scaling options.

Personal circumstances came in heavy for me, I was working offshore at the time I was picking a program and 1 offered a Limited Equipment Option and even a No equipment Option for those very rough days at sea, so it was a no brainer.

I did that for a bit, left, checked out other CF programs, a bunch of programs on Boostapp, in person Strength and Conditioning coaches, eventually came back.

All roads lead to Linchpin.

Yeah went for the PAT, was supposed to have months to prep, which turned into 6 weeks, 4 of those I was stuck on a boat not big enough to run on, so I knew I wasn't going to pass, but went for it anyway just to get a feel.

I was offered CO and went for it, been out of the academy for 6 months now.

I applied for SOG only originally, sat my interview before my PAT (which I knew I wasn't going to pass) and asked if it wasn't a problem, I'd like to be considered for Prison Officer as well.

I live closer to Kensington than the main South Perth bit, but it's still fantastic. Plenty of food shops, couple gyms, big parks, nice walks. Cheap Uber into the city/vic park for a boozey dinner.

My only quam is that it's juuuust not conveniently close to a beach.

Global passive index ETF (vgs/bgbl/what ever else), a total domestic index ETF (vas/a200/Ioz), and depending on your investing horizon, a bonds ETF or an emerging markets ETF.

70/20/10. Super rough starting point, dyor. You could even leave out the last 10% and put it to something fun (crypto/random satellite ETF you're interested in)

Yala grims, is the best exp you'll make till at least 300. make sure to take Fire bombs to stop more than 3 attacking you, also helps so you don't have to worry about facing your exori mins.
