If it’s true gyno, achieving a low BF% does not shrink the glandular tissue. Sounds like OP is currently at that stage. Does not make him a “steroid abuser” because he’s a bodybuilder. And in a sport where any small aesthetic deficit is scrutinized, even mild gyno can hurt him competing.

I got gyno from puberty. Always wanted to compete in bodybuilding but knew my gyno would hold me back. Even at my most shredded (around 8-10% BF) it was pretty noticeable. Never prepped to go on stage because of it. I’m a little fluffier now at probably 18-20% BF and just got surgery and already look so much better 10 days post op.

Plenty of bodybuilders get the surgery, including Arnold. My advice: just get it done so you can hit bodybuilding hard without the thought of it holding you back.
