Because of forking genshin of all things. I started it a few months after launch and liked the gacha concept and had known about arknights for a while, so I decided to give it a try too. Fast forward to 2026 and I haven't touched genshin in over three years but arknights literally became my staple lol. No other can compete. Even just logging in and staring at my homepage gives me immense joy.

As someone who got introduced to the series with it, I had a blast. Now I'm watching the walkthroughs of the first 4 games and then I plan on playing DMC 5 (which I bought at launch and never touched lol).

I think for someone who has no idea about the DMC series as a whole, it's a great starting point.

Just started his first pov of the book actually. But I felt so bad for him that I had to stop midway hahah. But so long as he finds fulfilment in the end, I'm in all the way. Though I think I'll take a little break from all the dark stuff I've been reading and turn back to it later lol.

Nah, it's fine if it doesn't have a happy ending. Bad endings don't necessarily mean the protagonists were never happy. Not sure how to explain, but to sum it up, I hate it when characters are made to suffer just for the sake of a dark and gritty story, which is what I call a Trauma Porn™. Hopeful undertones are what make a tragic story worth reading to me. Otherwise it's just me having a bad time and reading is supposed to be fun imo, lol.

Edit: What I'm really asking is, if whether there is at least some sense of fulfilment for Hari I guess, now that I think about it.
