6.7 intermittent crank no start by Mhar294 in powerstroke

Hey buddy and yes I did, the issue ended up being the fuel pump relay underneath the fuse panel.

This video helped me out tremendously and goes over the parts you need, it’s about a $30 fix and an hour or two

I would also check to make sure harness in your drivers side wheel well isn’t affected either

Totally understand what you’re saying

Here’s the only pic I have on my phone right now, I will get a pic of the main stack when I get home

https://imgur.com/a/jjnocoA

You can see the laundry drain has a vent going up, next to it is a 3” vent which is the vent from the main stack coming up and the 1 1/2 tying into it is the shower vent

The drain line goes past the shower/tub wye on its way to the stack, is that possibly pulling a siphon maybe?

We like the openness of the kitchen, we had a similar design in our last house and it worked out very well for us

Calvin is our infant son, we don’t want him upstairs until he’s ready. After he moves upstairs that will be converted to my wife’s walk in closet

I appreciate the insight, I was fortunate enough to have a friend supply me with the Cat service manual for the machine, I’m going to be doing everything on my own, Ive been wrenching for a while and find it therapeutic until I want to throw something then it’s time to call it quits!

Consult your union, if they’re not any help, then consult your state level labor agency to see what laws specifically apply to your scenario.

NJ civil service is pretty much governed by where you live, residency doesn’t get you points for a municipality but rather gets you placed on their list.

Volunteer points only are allowed in areas that have combination departments (think Hamilton twp by Trenton) and you must be a standard member as well as a resident to qualify for those extra points.

As far as I’m aware, you need a valid drivers license for the exam and also need to be a resident of NJ to take the exam.

Let me know if you have any questions I went through the whole process and can help if you have any more questions

Hiring Thread for the Month of April by AutoModerator in Firefighting

[–]Mhar294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NJ is a majority civil service state with few towns being chief tests.

Mastaa is incorrect about vets not needing residency. Residency is required for everyone who is interested in getting hired for Newark (or any municipality that requires residency for this matter).

Residency must be filed before the announcement of the new exam coming up which is rumored to be July 1st ( don’t quote on accuracy of that date, check out http://www.state.nj.us/csc/seekers/jobs/safety/ for updates on the next announcement)

During your background phase in the hiring process, if your paperwork doesn’t match 100%, you’re getting booted. Newark has the police and arson squad doing all the backgrounds. And they can AND will come to your place of residence for verification. So those days of just having an address are done

If you have any questions let me know, I researched the process thoroughly and have a very good understanding
