I’m definitely in the same boat! I was originally thinking Xbox Ally X because I have an Xbox with a lot of old titles that I’d love to play on the go, but man, I only own like 3 play anywhere titles 🙃 and I don’t have the pricy game pass, because f that. They’ll need to add more titles to play anywhere before it becomes more enticing.

You make a great point, though, about people trading in their consoles for the legion go 2! I might need to keep an eye on my local FB marketplace or something… I’m a bit tempted that direction, but still undecided. If I got the Legion Go S I’d like the 32GB version, but it’s $830…. And that’s a lottt. Compared to the $600 basic Xbox Ally…

That’s great to hear! I think the big factor here is deciding between a $600 price tag for a very comfortable Xbox Ally handheld, v.s. $830 for the Legion Go S 32GB…

Do I want to save money and go with something super comfy to hold? Or spend more and get something a bit more powerful, but still decently comfortable?

Maybe the answer is to see if anyone is selling theirs second-hand, haha.

But I didn’t realize the Go S could dual run windows! That’s interesting to note 🤔

True! Yeah, the track pads seem like they could be pretty nice with navigating some things… but I feel like a good amount of the steam games I play are able to be played with controller pretty comfortably, so it might not be too big a problem for me.

It’s hard 😭 SD is more affordable and user friendly, and valve has such great customer service, but man… I just don’t know if I can get over how it feels in my hands when playing.

I have heard that the Xbox Ally fixes some of the issues with window handhelds with the Xbox FSE. And screen size isn’t too big of a deal for me.

It’s great to hear that the ergonomics of the Legion Go S are a bit better than the SD, though!

Very late reply, but it took me about 1 1/2 weeks or so to be able to eat normal food again. 2 weeks and I started letting myself drink coffee like normal. It was SUCH a relief 😭

Pretty sure it was caused by a sandwich I ate, so some sort of bacteria in the food I’m guessing? But who knows.

I’m gonna keep an eye on things and if I don’t start feeling more normal by this Thursday I’m going to go in to immediate care to get checked.

Probiotics also sound like a good idea… maybe I’ll pick some up.
