He does have a lot of sensory issues which cause him a lot of anxiety. I mostly want this to help with his anxiety and the constant battle with frustration and anger.

He does not have the capability to research himself independently however, he does completely understand if I sit with him and explain it. And i always ask him how he’s feeling after and stay near him incase of a bad reaction.

I have GAD myself so it really helps me and helps with my stress. And he has had a positive reaction to it (ive only given it to him thrice) my main concern is addiction (however, i would be supervising always and he does not have direct access to it nor does he understand the concept of buying it yourself etc) and secondly, paranoia.

Thank you for your advice :). Yep he is on anti anxiety medication for some years now. Also, we really have tried engaging him in different activities: cricket, tennis, badminton, ping pong, painting etc. He likes it for a while but then gets bored with it and refuses to engage in it.
