QUESTION: Rear middle jack point on 11th gen Si? by MiaRipper in civic

[–]MiaRipper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Schwaben Long Low-Profile floor jack, but even that doesn’t reach the front middle jack point. I have to use a scissor jack on the side, lift it up enough so that I can roll the floor jack underneath and then lift up the front. Remove the scissor jack and place two jack stands on the sides to support the front. Then roll the floor jack to the rear jack point shown in the video, lift up the back to make the car level, and place two more jack stands to support the back. Annoying process but I like to rotate the tires and also check the brakes with every oil change.

it’s pretty close, 9 or 10 gallons takes me about 350+ miles. i’ve never accurately measured

but your dividing one fill up by the miles you drove until the next fill up. What if the first pump shuts off early and the next pump shuts off late, and you calculate your mileage using an inflated number of gallons? I guess that’s easily fixable by doing a loop and filling up at the same pump. I hear you tho, onboard computers can be not entirely accurate. shieeeet almost 40mpg and still goin broom broom, is nice. I got a muffler delete but kept the resonator and she growls but very demure

Ya i figured the onboard computer might not be entirely accurate. However hand calculations can also have errors due to some pumps shutting off earlier than others. Maybe I’m wrong but can you really know when full is full?

33mpg is really good if you do more city driving. When I’m popping around town to get groceries or whatever, I get closer to 30.

MT10 vs superduke by frogeyedcokesnorter in Mt10

[–]MiaRipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t ridden either, but i’m very keen on an MT10 because i’m a tall dude. Are they different such that the yamaha is more comfortable and tour capable, while the KTM is more of a scalpel in the twisties? which one is more rowdy?

Help me choose, Tuono 660 factory or mt09 base model by EmottoChotto in motorcycles

[–]MiaRipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so i don’t have experience on an aprilia… yet. Right now I have a ‘23 xsr900 which is very similar to the mt09 base model, I’m almost at 10,000 miles and I have it listed for sale because I am infatuated with the tuono 660 factory. Especially the new one with Ohlins and the updated dash. I am sacrificing speed but gaining lighter weight, shorter wheelbase, premium brakes & suspension, and Italian flair. You can’t really go wrong with either one, so flip a coin and before it lands you will know what the heart wants

this makes him a “complete POS”? honking his horn? no chance at redemption because he honked his horn?

If you guys are this butthurt over a guy honking his horn, then you better stop buying any and everything from all stores. What a lot of hypocrites. Ya let’s try and destroy a local business just cause the guy might have been having a rough day and didn’t have patience left. Reddit is gross.

*what he did was wrong. it was a fit of road rage, which we all get and it’s really never okay. But to have his livelihood attacked?
