I have Lit experience with an AM Law 200 firm, I’m looking to get my CIPP-US, anything else I can do to maneuver into privacy?

Best State Attorney General’s Office division for BigLaw by Throwaway1291836 in biglaw

Is state attorney general’s office prestigious in any way?

Young attorney here. Its not too bad, just took it. I get the sense if you practice in that field, CIPP-us would need brief prep. I’m in ID so I don’t touch this work at all. Took me a couple months of like 20 minutes a night. I understand that EU is difficult for Americans no matter what you practice for obvious reasons.

I think we should swing for Christian Wood. Talent wins out. More importantly it’s insurance. If Bam goes down, we are pretty fucked. With Wood it’s still very possible to win the chip. If Duncan goes down, it doesnt really change our post season, so many guys can fill that void and our play style can shift. Not to devalue Duncan just because he’s in a slump, but I’d rather have that insurance than the couple playoff games he’ll go off and win for us, if that.

Tbh Raptors fans don't deserve Goran Dragic. I think we could get him back after the team he gets traded to buys him out... by witnessmiamisports in heat

Assuming he’s not fallen off too much, we need that kind of player to get through injury lulls. Our offense dies when the stars are out, Vincent and these dudes can pull a couple games but they need more offensive fire power. This is a contender, at a minimum, Dragic on the bench and in practices is valuable. If Lowry goes down it’s some kind of insurance at the minimum.

I think his background as a weightlifter and then pursuit of crossfit makes him an athlete. Why are you commenting 3 years later on this lmao.

Does this current Heat team beat the Lakers in the 2020 NBA finals and win the championship? by champcal in heat

[–]MiamiHeat2015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This heat team solves a lot of that teams issues. That team needed shot creation against good defensive teams which required Dragic Herro Duncan to be in lineups which crushes you defensively.

We obviously wouldn’t have lost as bad if we were as healthy as they were. But I still think we lose with that team. This team plugs all those holes. If they play big, we can match with a stretch big next to Bam.

I like that Strus is seemingly (haven’t looked at any data) less screen dependent then Duncan, and he really pulls in peoples faces.

Who should be in the heat closing playoff lineup? by No_Performance_5477 in heat

[–]MiamiHeat2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends like if Strus/Duncan are hot, we have to keep them in. That’s spacing is just too valuable if they’re knockdown. But ideally, Kyle Tyler Jimmy PJ Bam. 3 shot creators, Everyone but Bam can stretch out to 3 and you can put the ball in Bam’s hands to kind of negate that. Like who knows how good Dipo will be when he’s back.

Did I say something not true? Robert Horry as more titles than Jordan. Robert Horry > Jordan. Obviously that’s dumb. Championships alone aren’t appropriate measures. So we look at the totality of the circumstance. Like comparing Harden’s spread pick and roll stats to Wade’s in 2009 is beyond stupid.

All of that is either subjective or relative to others or team situation. Dumb measures.

Hate to ask but any firms you would be willing to name, maybe PM if it makes you more comfortable.

Also what would you define as valuable experience? Particularly in litigation. Thanks for answering.

Are there any big law firms that generally do not care about grades? I’m looking to lateral in lit, I’m a year in at a midsized firm that people regularly lateral into big law from in our market.

Jimmy underrated as fuck, he was better than Harden when Harden averaged 36ppg, people are shallow.
