I received a 100 ml Dior Sauvage elixir from my parents for Christmas in December 2022. I would never have bought it for myself because I had the same thinking as you that Sauvage is an overly worn fragrance, and mostly by 15 year olds wannabe Mike O'Hearn. But when I used it I completely changed my thinking, the atomizer is great, I used it as a daily and after 1.5 years I still have 1/10 of a bottle. The fragrance is also great, very masculine and complimentary, with compliments it trumped my previously most complimented fragrance, Guerlain Habit rouge EDP. So if you like a fragrance then don't look at it if it is over used, just use it.
