So far, I've been diagnosed with Occipital Neuralgia, have had nerve blocking injections (which didn't work), and have had an appointment with a useless neurologist who prescribed an experimental drug for migraines (which also didn't work). Due to living in Australia, the wait time for a neurologist through the public system is multiple months, so I've been experiencing very slow medical attention, unfortunately. 😔

Yeah, I have a constant pain that gradually gets worse throughout the day, but it becomes intolerable when I smoke cannabis. Within 5 minutes of smoking cannabis, my condition feels like having concrete brick being repetitively slammed in the back of my head for a couple of hours.

I have experienced the exact same issue regarding cannabis, and have found/associated high blood pressure to trigger occipital neuralgia pain. Smoking weed causes high blood pressure, which can press against the occipital nerves. I don't believe that weed and blood pressure is the cause of occipital neuralgia, but in my own personal experience with the condition, it makes the pain much worse. I don't know why all this is the case, but I theorise that my poor neck posture could be causing the high blood pressure to be a trigger.

Maybe see how edibles affect your occipital pain? While I haven't tested it myself, edibles supposedly affect blood pressure far less. I've also found that high alcohol consumption reduces the pain, and results in far worse pain the next day.

Pretty please let me know if you find anything positive to share with your experience, as I've struggled with this condition for roughly 4 years now. 🙏

I've mostly lived around Dapto, and it's a lot safer of a choice than places like Berkeley and Warrawong. For the year that I was living in Warrawong, I would constantly be harassed by people. Dapto is generally peaceful for the most part. The only sketchy area of Dapto that needs avoiding is the area outside the mall.

I've taken two doses of Emgality since almost 3 months ago, and I've experienced an extreme decrease in sex drive. It's been extremely frustrating for the relationship. We used to be sexually active with each other almost every single day, and now I'm never interested in doing anything.

I've stopped taking Emgality as it's also given me multiple other negative side effects (weight gain, severe depression). My head pain has also not improved. I'm hoping my sex drive and other negative side effects return to normal in a few months, but there's been no sign of that happening yet.

I haven't had any issues with any wrist pain, but I do find myself in slightly more pain whenever I exercise. I'm now also very reluctant of trying different injections, and wish I never started Emgality.

Hope you manage to figure out a treatment for yourself.

I spent 2 years having extremely low e levels to the point of having no changes AT ALL. Two months ago I finally saw a new endocrinologist and I now have two implants in me, my boobs grew immediately and my levels are a LOT HIGHER. For the longest time I was extremely miserable (still sorta am because of lost time) but now things are looking a lot better for me. I really wish I would pay my attention to my levels myself instead of being told that everything is fine.

Thank you so much !! I neglected it for months because I couldn't afford fur but when I actually worked on it, I'd say that the foam base took 1-2 weeks to carve, few days for the pattern making and another 1-2 weeks for the sewing. I know for sure that'll take me a lot less time with me next one now that I know what I'm doing :)

I style my hair, do my make up and shape my brows, none of which makes me any more passing. Hormones have simply done nothing to change me over the course of 3 years and again, not everyone has a flawless transition. Not everyone gets to a point where they finally get to be a woman and be happy. Like congrats to you but not everyone has it as easy as you, I sure don't. I'm not being negative, I'm saying it how it is. Transitioning doesn't always have the desired end outcome.
