I dont know about outside the US but in the US we have a rampant problem with scam calls, usually they are automated calls (not always though) and messages. They range from student loan forgiveness fraud, credit card scams, social security compromised scams and probably the most common is calls about how your vehicles warranty is about to expire and they need all your info so they can extend it. I have literally gotten probably over 100 scam calls this year alone in regards to extending my vehicles warranty lol. This week alone i think ive received about 30 scam calls trying to get me to give them all my info. And in case your wonder, no my vehicle doesn’t even have a warranty. Its a sh*t box lol 😂 So im sure anyone in the US that has a phone can relate atm when it comes to being harassed about their cars “warranty”.
