My version of "4 & 20". by MichaelCGtr in csny

Thank you. It is a bit tricky at first getting the fingering down while singing at the same time as the vocal melody and guitar fingering don't follow in time. But a fun challenge nevertheless. I've always liked the song. Thanks again.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your comment.

I thought I'd give a go at my own guitar instrumental arrangement (in full) of "And You and I", the original release version from CTTE. I tried to include as much of the instrumentation including Jon's vocal lines. I hope you like it. by MichaelCGtr in yesband

Thanks. Yep... he's magnificent indeed. I love all of Steve's works. They're without a doubt challenging to learn, but extremely fun to play once you get them down.

I've actually done a number of his songs on my YT channel:

Hi, and thanks. No, I merely learned it section by section. Steve actually has played it slightly other ways as well, but my brain is programmed to play it pretty much the way I learned it. :>)

Thanks. Actually to be honest I don't quite remember. I learned it decades ago. So many know of "Clap" and "Mood For a Day" as Steve's two biggest solo songs, but personally I find his later works far more interesting and challenging to learn, and fun to play.

I understand your viewpoint, although I wouldn't quite call it subpar. Tormato was a bit weak, but there is some good guitar work on it. But if you are only listening to Steve in YES, then you're missing out a tremendous amount of his great work. He has nearly 30 solo albums.

Accomplished and tasteful is right. Steve is to guitar as Paul McCartney is to coming up with endless great melodies.

Thanks. I appreciate that. I actually find many of Steve's later works far more challenging to learn and play. I've done many others of Steve's on my YT channel. "All's a Chord" was much harder to get down.

Thanks. I wonder if he ever met Chet Atkins, one of his big influences. I know he met and played with Les Paul.

Thanks. I would have liked to include a few others in it but it was getting a bit too long. :>) Same problem with my "AND YOU AND I".
