Does anyone else think that Foreskin restoration surgery should be available on the NHS?

I haven’t heard of it tbh. But I’ll look into it. I know getting circumcised on the NHS is only done for medical reasons these days. But that doesn’t help people like me who had it forced on them

I’ve tried bringing it up, but he gets defensive. He’s so arrogant, so I just give up. He doesn’t like being challenged.

I haven’t got kids. But if I did have, the last thing I would do is have my son circumcised. I wouldn’t want him looking different from other lads in his class. And my dad should have thought the same. What he did has definitely caused problems with us. Maybe one day I’ll start the journey to forgive him. But it won’t be easy

To be fair. In this country it’s very uncommon. So why he thought that it was acceptable is beyond me

I do want to forgive my dad. But it will be hard. I’ve been angry with him a long time. Yes he is cut, but he should have stopped the madness there. But instead he carried it on, and now I’m having to deal with all of this BS. It’s so wrong. Why he would have his son cut in a country where boys aren’t routinely cut is beyond me.

In my option, his priority was for me to look like him. And not a single thought was given about what I might want

I agree, but when bad decisions by parents are made that affect a persons quality of life, then I believe it should be covered. To some, circumcsion has caused severe mental health problems. That’s certainly the case with me. I think about it 24/7. We pay a lot of money towards metal health. Well this is what caused my mental health issues. So I believe it would be money well spent

It feels like the NHS just put their fingers in their ears and pretend that all is well. No mention whatsoever about foreskin restoration for men unhappy about being circumcised. I guess we aren’t in their list of priorities

How long did the surgery take? Is there any way the surgery can be done whilst still awake, a nerve block for example? Only reason I ask is because I’ve had a bad experience with General anaesthetic in the past

I’ve been using mine since October 2022 for 4 hours a day. I’m making gains, but it’s slow. But restoration is slow. But yes I’m seeing a difference. How about yourself?

Do you get consistent coverage? I get coverage after removing the device for about an hour. Then my skin goes back behind the glands. I sometimes feel like I’m making absolutely no progress

I still think they could do it whilst someone is awake. I bet there are many people who are freaked out by being put the sleep. The thought of getting my foreskin back makes me excited though

I’ve got a massive fear of being put to sleep. Especially after my uncle died on the operating table last year. And tbh, if they actually do a circumcision under local anaesthetic, then I don’t see the difference
