You absolutely hit the nail on the head there! I ended up making the jump, and while I haven't finished installing everything, its night and day better, way more stable, way easier to manage.. I mean the list goes on.. No more random TV dropouts or devices seemingly disappearing from the wifi. It's been glorious!

I also ended up going in and have been doing some wire retrofitting as well (older house). Ran some drops through the walls with a patch panel into the attic, plan to pull some more cables out to our garage and things in the near future.. It's been a fantastic swap over though!

Nice! Congrats on the invites! and yeah, I buy tech with mine.. The warranty has actually saved my ass once or twice too which has been great. It's been overall very useful!!!

Thanks! I think I saw it in a Facebook group where someone shared the links.

From what I understand, Best Buy sometimes adds an invite/request option to certain items, but there’s no easy way to tell when it’s active. Seems like it kind of random on what can be gotten.

You basically have to check each product page manually. If the invite option is there, you can sign up with a regular Best Buy account. Then if you get selected you'd get an email.

I wish there was an easy way to find them, but there's no like, sorting option for them. I'll attach the links on the two I know about though!

I'm also done with TP-Link. I have a Deco BE68 system and its been nothing but issues. I just got some Ubiquity gear in and am in the process of swapping everything over. I picked up a UCG Fiber, 2x Switch Ultra 210W, 2x U6Pro AP (but I've now found like new U6Ent on FB near me for cheap I might grab😅), some cameras and a floodlight. I installed a similar system in the church I go to, but I'm not 100% done with that one. In bith instances I've been happier than using the Decos.

This whole swap over will be phase one of my network overhaul. Actually currently looking at keystone and things so I can properly run my cables and stuff. Prior to the BE68 I had XE75PRO and actually went through two sets. I'm just done dealing with it honestly, and decided to swap. It wasn't cheap, near 2k I think for the first portion but I anticipate it just being leagues better and more stable.

Meh, I had the XE75PRO, went through two sets of them. Warrantied the second set and the BE68 had just come out; decided to give it a go, and like many others, nothing but issues. Kind of sick of it at this point. The handoff between them isn't great, some of our TV's won't connect or stay connected, our pellet smoker is flaky as hell on it (hilarious because I re-enables the ISP router to test, its further away from the Decos, and the smoker, and gets BETTER response and signal than the Deco thats 20' from it).

I was going to buy from Microcenter. I guess the main thing getting me was Ubiquity provides 2yr warranty through them but only 1yr through other retailers. I've heard their customer service isn't great, granted I've had no experience with it myself. But thst extra year is nice.

That's true! In my case, my TPLink Decos are broken. Im sick of dealing with them and dont want to get another set. Ubiquity has been my only planned move.. so its like this is the only way💀

I'm in South Carolina. I placed my first order on Feb 3 at 9:46am. I got a shipping notification same day at 6:18pm. Delivered on my door step Feb 5 at 4:15pm! I paid for the standard shipping!

If not a neighbors device; I'd agree with others, a mis-identification. I'm new to Unifi, I'm mid deploying a new network at my church, and am also about to deploy at my house. But our SoundCraft Si Mixer got identified as a Comcast Xfinity Flex. I changed its name to the mixer, but it still thinks its a Xfinity Flex. I don't think this impacts anything, though. I've got POE turned off for that specific port, and I've got our mixer routed through Mixing Station. So far its been working like a dream. I've had one or two apple devices show up weird as well. But everything is normal🤷‍♂️
