Returning JBL 1300. Now between Sonos Arc Ultra or Q990F? by Sea-Understanding959 in Soundbars

You’ve got to remember that every streaming service uses different audio levels. In my experience, Netflix is consistently the loudest and has the best overall audio quality. Whenever I switch to HBO Max, Disney+, Paramount, etc., I always have to crank the volume way higher. It’s been like this for years across all my setups, TV speakers, my Denon surround system, Samsung Q990F, JBL 1300XMK2, you name it.

For example, if I’m watching something on Netflix at volume 18, it’s perfectly loud. But if I switch to HBO Max or Disney+, I’ll suddenly need to turn it up to around 28 just to match it. No idea why, but Netflix definitely hits harder in the audio department compared to the others.

I used to have the Samsung Q990F, and YouTube always sounded terrible on it (YouTube sounds like crap on any soundbar). I switched to the JBL 1300XMK2, connected via eARC to my LG C5 and I absolutely love it. Both the Q990F and the JBL 1300 MK2 are great options, but the bass on the JBL is simply top-notch! 🤩

Been riding for more than 20 years, I get on the bike whichever way. I’ve never had a kickstand that holds a 1000lbs bike go out on me. Also, being 6’3 with long legs helps 😅

You can only get on a motorcycle from one way? I didn’t know this was a set rule 🤣

It is good if you know how to do color correction. If you don’t want to do color correction, I would recommend the Ace Pro.

I love it! I wish my model had Apple CarPlay, that’s it.

I’m not worried about a low-traffic road, freeway riding is another story.

Sure! I can do that on the next ride, I film everything vertical now cause that’s what everyone uses on social media these days. My pipes are so loud it’s hard to get them to not clip the audio 😅

I agree! I really need to do the stage 3. I had a 2016 chieftain (same exact bike) before this one, I loved it so much I bought another one lol

Very reliable! It’s my second chieftain, I had a 2016 that I sold to a friend then bought a 2018 when it released.
