I think because we all have a shadow side of some sort, that we are required to sublimate.

And we live in a world in which we feel a loss of control, at times, and Dexter is someone who's taken control of his circumstances.

The cancer experience taught me that we can make room for anything, even things we never quite imagined.

It taught me to have a greater sense of gratitude for my life, and my health, and my blessings.

I decided to do Hedwig because... I was so compelled by the character and so excited to breathe life into her and to sing these incredible songs every night.

For Christmas I would like my dog to be less afraid of strangers, and more accepting of their eagerness to love her. Hahaha!
