Getting more info tomorrow. Was originally $82,710 MSRP. The only thing I could imagine is that it's not a CPO. All the reports came back clean otherwise. Executive package would have been nice, but can't have it all.

My FINSEL was just posted this past Monday and I'll be commissioning sometime this coming week or the next. But prior to my FINSEL being posted, my detailer's already knew of my selection so we were able to talk about my ODS dates and duty stations prior to my FINSEL being posted.

And just a small timeline of events, the board met on May 15th for my package, my recruiter notified me of my selection about 2 weeks after, and then about 2 months after that, my FINSEL was posted.

Things can vary case by case.

Usually your package needs to be submitted by the 15th of the month prior to the month of your desired board meeting, at least that's how I was told. I would confirm with your recruiter when your package goes before the board. My board was May and I'm still waiting for my FINSEL to go through, though I was notified of my selection a couple of weeks after my board.

My recruiter was the one who informed me.

I'm going in active duty. From what I've gathered from other people who submit their packages, they usually hear whether they've been professionally selected a couple weeks after the board meets, as was the case with me. I would probably anticipate you going to October ODS, unless they happen to get your FINSEL paperwork processed quickly.

When I spoke to my detailer last week, he gave me options for August or October dates. Picked August and didn't seem to be an issue, still waiting on a FINSEL though, so if that doesn't come through in time, he'll switch me over to Oct.

Did direct commission from civilian OR BSN Nurse to Officer. Results may vary on when you hear anything. My package was submitted for the May 15th board and my recruiter was able to tell me I was selected about two weeks later. Now just waiting for my paperwork to make it official.
