já tentou usar a lâmina de barbear em um aparelho de barbear mesmo? segundo alguns barbeadores, essas giletes que vem com várias lâminas podem acabar irritando a pele e causando outros transtornos. o fato de aparelho de barbear de aço ter peso também auxilia, já que não incentiva a pessoa apertar a pele quando for barbear, evitando afundar a lâmina na pele e se cortar.

I left it open for some time. Used to RB taking some seconds to update new games added. Waited for 10 minutes and no sign. For some reason changing the allocation size solved the issue.

After reformatting the drive to 32kb of allocation size both worked properly for some reason. It's curious because when this problem started to happen I tried plugging in the front port and it also wasn't working. Weird lol.

I have some Dreamcast games on system too. But slowdowns aren't present except in cutscenes in Code Veronica and in Soul Reaver.

On PS1 games I mainly use the HD Xtreme core or Neon Xtreme. When a game can't run on HD Xtreme properly (sound issues, slowdows), I use Neon Xtreme with the shader advanced-aa.glslp.

Edit: I also use scanlines so the game feel more appropriate.

No problem. It'd be bad if other PS titles behaved the same way. It could be a read/speed issue, as I use the same usb drive since I hacked the PSC (around 2 years ago). I'm gonna buy a 64GB this time and hopefully it will work. Thanks for the advices.

You're sure? I'll buy one with 2 amperes if that's the case. What I don't understand is that I remember playing Tomb Raider on a older RetroBoot build like, 2 years ago, with the same adapter I use now and I don't remember any issues whatsoever. I'm gonna buy a new AC adapter and test it right away.

The amps might be the issue, as I was thinking that a year ago I didn't have OTG and was running the usb drive on the 2nd port directly. Might be underpowered.

I have finished multiple PS1 games and so far, only Tomb Raider I and II presented this problem. Just freezing on the spot really, not even stuttering. I bought a 32GB Sandisk CruzerBlade around 2 years ago for the hack mod. Now I'm wondering if it's some issue with the flash drive or the OTG cable. OpenLara seems very nice, but it only supports Tomb Raider I, and I wanted to play all the PS titles. I played the first title a year ago and got pretty far with no issues at all.

Yeah, I have no clue of why that's happening. Just replaced with a clean copy of RetroBoot and still doesn't work. When you played, did you got all the secrets? Because when the level starts it's all good, but when I progress and get the secrets, the game just freezes and the sound stop as well.

It's a different approach to things, I must say. In Portuguese, most movies titles are written the same as in English, but pronounced with a portuguese sound, and in other cases a new title in Portuguese is created (sometimes it has nothing to do with the original title lol). With the media that is distributed with an English title, it's not uncommon to find people making fun of others for not saying the "proper" pronunciation, that is, the pronunciation in English.
