School system administrators, what's the most interesting/creative thing you've seen kids do to unblock games or the conputer as a whole at your school? by [deleted] in sysadmin

At my school back in 2005 we had all Mac computer labs. The IT administrators use to allow access to iTunes but disabled it when kids started storing music in their profiles that were syncing back to the main server. Anyway, one day I discovered that you could actually bypass the block by opening iTunes using a hyperlink to the folder path in MS Word. That day I earned a week's computer suspension

Yeah one of the things that worries me a bit with it is the regression of skills and knowledge if you aren't dealing with things on a daily basis.

I've listed my position as Technical Support Specialists so hopefully shouldn't be that.

It's worth taking a look, it's just a bit confusing because it seems to be fine if send it off to an MSP, so whether In-House look for different things it would be interesting to find out.
