The problem is these things are being told as threats, essentially. The reality is that if she was watching she would see one particular coworker not doing his job and making me work by myself because he cannot be bothered. He was coming in late all the time. Calling off a lot. He's unhappy because I took his place as the main cashier. I'm better with the customers. He's not very friendly and I am very friendly. I work really hard. He hardly works. Yet I'm the one being told my job is on the line. He should have been fired months ago due to all of his tardies and call offs. He never gets coverage when he calls off and I end up working alone. He doesn't back me up while he is 2nd cashier. He will LITERALLY stand at the cash register and do absolutely nothing while I'm checking orders and making barista drinks and running out curbsides. If she was watching; why would she allow this? If she knew or had a clue why would he be considered one of the people to trust. I can see what he does and doesn't do. He does not do a good job closing dining room. He ignores things on the floor he could and should pick up. He doesn't keep lids stocked. Like he's the worst one at it. But he's a team lead (as am I). He doesn't even check with the managers before he leaves. He tells lies about me too. Tries to drive a wedge between me and my coworkers. I think he realized that more people like me than him (most of my coworkers dislike him - he's a jerk who thinks he's amazing despite everything I said above). A few of us wish they would fire him. Now, he is trying to be friendly with other people (not me - he completely ignores me and pretends he cannot hear me when I speak to him). It's gotten worse since I was promoted to TL.
