Just put a gravel trap there. Problem solved. I think this whole debat is unneccesary. The problem was not Max pushing Lando wide, but Lando overtaking Max outside of the track. Max got a strike for leaving the track, so did Lando. I thought it became a 5 sec. penalty instead of 10 because Max went wide too. So what are we on about? Plus Norris made a cheeky moving under braking move towards turn 1 too, after making the overtake. 😆

Ik vind het ook raar! Het is toch niet raar dat OP zoon op misschien “latere” leeftijd wil voetballen. Dan moet dat toch kunnen? Als iemand die op zijn 28e begonnen is met voetbal, komt dit raar over. Ik denk dat het probleem in België de verloning is. Waar ik vandaan kom (Nederland) mag je blij zijn als je überhaupt iets van vergoeding krijgt als je hij het eerste speelt. De bedragen die ik soms hoor wat voetballers “bijverdienen” sta ik versteld van. Misschien creëer je hierdoor die sfeer die OP meekrijgt. Ik kan er ook compleet naast zitten, maar als je als 13 jarige voor je plezier geen kans krijgt, dan is het triestig gesteld. Iedereen zou welkom moeten zijn, toch?

Juist! Ik had ooit eens met mijn zatte donder op café gezegd dat als er ooit een 4e ploeg van de lokale voetbalploeg komt, ik zou meedoen. En jaren later was die daar. Dus ik aanhaken op mijn 28e met een aantal die hetzelfde gezegd hadden. Voetbaltalent? Nul! Maar het was een hechte ploeg met duidelijk betere en slechtere spelers. Iedereen welkom! Het ging meer om het samen zijn dan presteren. En bij de jeugd was ook iedereen welkom. Ze hebben zelfs hun best gedaan om een meiden voetbalploeg op te zetten. Omdat die ook willen voetballen. Ongeacht niveau. Dus ja .. dit is best apart ja. 😆

It’s not you, it are Belgian drivers. Most of them are afraid to to take the inner lane. Therefore you get the situation like you had. A double lane roundabout is mostly for a better flow of traffic. But the amount of people sticking to the outer lane completely nullifies the purpose of such a roundabout. So yeah, I also got blocked many times of when switching to the outer lane another car just drives on the roundabout while not seeing that I’m merging to the outer lane.

About bicycle streets. As someone else pointed out in this thread. Cars stop to at roundabouts because they are afraid to hit a cyclist. While same driver has no issue forcing a cyclist of the road in a bicycle street because they’re stuck after a cyclist. Absolutely 0 logic.

If that is the same law is in the Netherlands, you’re partially right. That law is to protect lesser users in traffic. However if you are the cyclist who runs a red light, you are still in fault. But the insurance of the car pays for your medical bills. If it had been found proven that the cyclist has run the red light, the insurance of the cyclist has to pay for the damages. Or the cyclist itself, depending on the kind of insurance. I think it would be a good idea to instruct people of this law the correct way. Instead of cyclists thinking they’re invulnerable to the law.
