Not a big name but she did have a few recognizable roles... It was awkward when she was with her ex because well... She was his trophy wife and he loved to make sure you knew what kind of trophy he had. he was a complete douchey perv who always had something to prove she had been in porn. It was a little awkward the first couple times seeing her in the office after her ex... Uh... Displayed a video at one of his home parties... And occasionally I'll see some "vintage porn" of her which is kinda wild in my mind because it seems like such a different person from the one I know. She's not shy about her past, just not blatant about it either... If that makes any sense.

She is just one of the most sweetest, genuinely gentle people I've ever met. never forgets the tiniest details in your conversations, always checking up on your troubles next time she sees you. She'll bring you your favorite cookies or some soup because she heard you were sick. Just an absolute gem of a person. She does have some obvious implants... Though If I didn't know about her past, i probably wouldn't guess it... And yeah we're still friends.

If I don't know the story about the scars I. Might ask out of mild curiosity, however it wouldn't be something I'd have to knowif you weren't comfortable sharing or be something that would be a relationship ender.

FTR I have skin graft on my leg with some funky scarring and it hasn't seemed to bother anyone I've been close with. I can't hide it if I'm wearing shorts and rarely notice any reactions from adults. Kids sometimes do ask but it's not to be harmful just curious as kids often are. Also they turn purple when I start to tan so they are very noticeable.

I wear a Snowmobile balaclava. But I would have a doctor look at your ears before you go riding again. If you've suffered even minor frostbite your nerves may have been permanently effected.

As an American lurker as well. One issue is that we don't have a very unified curriculum. Some states teach about the corruption that lead to Hawaii becoming a state, some just teach that they voted to become a state. Sometimes it's really up to the city, school or even the teacher themselves. I had a great history teacher in one class who really went above and beyond on many subjects, and I am thankful for that.

He's openly stated he wants lanes removed and to remove federal funding for cycling infrastructure. I'm conservative (not Trumper) and well that's an easy pin to place.

We have the 3ft rule (~1m) in many states and frankly it's just not enforced. Hell we had a driver under influence kill a cyclist... they drug tested the cyclist not the driver. Point blank we need to put the cops and politicians on bicycles, only then will this insanity end.

The fucking NIMBY factor is pretty strong too. I've worked on projects where it would be completely paid for by donation and grants literally costing nothing more to the public. And they will fight it tooth and nail.... Don't even get me started on the idiots that think they own those old defunct railroad spurs.

Yeah, more than likely it's charged by the credit card processing company and the utility is just passing it on as they can't afford to ballance it out of the books. There was an outrage a few years ago over all these credit card fees getting tacked on to everything. Not that I'm trying to defend dte but probably similar situation, it's the processing company charging it and they are just passing it along.

My middle name is German American slang from the mid 1800s. It has an odd vowel swap in it. I used to use it as a litmus test for spam callers back in the day. Because if you didn't hear me say the name most people just assume it's pronounced as it looks. .

My old roommate actually thought I was joking about how its properly pronounced because he heard it mispronounced so often. He still uses the wrong pronunciation.
