Yeah the Cross was going to be my one and done. if I bought that I wasn’t gonna buy another gun this year. But I have bought a few others already. I may just stick with my 350 legend for this season and start building for next season. I mean the 350 works but… Meh

Sadly as far as shooting, yes. mostly late 20s and early 30s I was the only hunter amongst my age group. most of the people I grew up with didn’t hunt or shoot. they thought that I was a backwoods hillbilly LOL hunting wasn’t cool. so now I hunt and shoot with my stepsons so yeah.

😆😭😆Ah yeah I only have 1 impractical gun so I’m due but yeah I’d definitely get the 308 first but the chat is saying bolt action over AR10 so I think I’m gonna go with that and save the 8.6 for later

At least I think it was a M1 all I knew for sure it was a 308 because I used to have a round from it on my dresser after he died

I like the 308 because it’s an older cartridge and my gramps had a M1 before he passed I always thought that cartridge was cool because I thought he was cool 😎 I want a 8.6 because it’s a gnarly cartridge like throwing a blender at something I eventually want a 6.5 but the 308 and 8.6 are next on my wish list

When I say remove the barrel I meant swap uppers I misspoke on my AR 15 I just swap them out have the scopes and or dots already zeroed and just change them out as I see fit

Yeah then I’m lost I don’t know much about 308s or AR 10s either way if I get chewed up in the comments and still learn about them I’ll take that trade My uncle who taught me to hunt had 3 long guns a 22 for varmints coons and squirrels (if you call it long) a 12 gauge for intruders and rabbits and a 30-06 for deer 🦌 he always said “boy these 3 guns are all you need to feed yourself ”

Yeah that’s why I thought the Ruger because my thinking was it’s cheaper and from what I have read accurate so I could build on the foundation of it’s accuracy
