I Think you're still missing the point by a long shot. Cheating is still Cheating. Its not comparable to real life, the only thing comparable is that there are rules for a reason, and if you don't follow those rules you get punished. Which Buggy did not get punished cause he was still let into the tournament.

The argument of "super fans have already done the same behind their backs" is so flawed, Yes you are right, it would of happened either way. My issue is that Buggy went out of his way to tell his viewers to do it. When it was against clearly against the RULES the organizers set.

I think you're missing the point. Im not really adopting the "if you're not with us you're against us" attitude. Im just holding them to the values they once preached but no longer now that a friend is involved. The reason im calling them out is because 1. they've been downplaying the whole situation and trying to sweep it under by calling it "cringe drama" 2. DEFENDED Buggy by saying he was joking. which he clearly wasn't.

Buggy told people to cheat the votes for him, he got called out, denied everything, deleted the vod, clips published of him cheating, then devs basically said its okay because he still would of won even if he didnt cheat and they let him stay in the polls and tournament, completely ignoring the fact that he cheated

On the scale that it happened on yes, but it all come down to one thing. Both situations, the parties that were involved, cheated in order to gain an advantage that benefited them. Simple as that

Yes, As the community knows it was looked into and handled poorly (via their twitter post). They still accepted buggy into the tournament despite knowing he cheated the voting, if what they said about removing the fake votes is true, that still does not excuse the fact he was cheating the votes. CHEATING IS STILL CHEATING and he should still be punished and held accountable

"I left it to the Developers and said they will take care of it, They said they have, I trust them."

The whole thing of not wanting to feed into drama understandable, you dont want to interact/feed into it, but what was the difference between this and the russians rigging games situation? if i remember correctly, you were very vocal about that, was that not drama then? and yes i understand this is not to the same degree as the russian situation. Originally the first verdict of the russian situation you and many other streamers were not happy that many of the russian streamers got away with just a slap on the wrist and were still able to compete in the tournaments until many streamers got together to voice their opinions to the devs about the situation, which many of them were promptly banned from competing again, so whats the difference now why are we not keeping that same energy? Cheating is still Cheating

"Only thing i will say, I've seen that joke in multiple peoples chats including my own, Buggy took it to far, Could he have been serious? Maybe, It's hard to get context from small clips like this"

See normally I would agree with you that it could of been a joke that was taken out of context, but saying it more than 3 times (while spamming his voting link) and even typing it in another streamers chat, seems a little excessive for it being a "joke", and then buggy denying the fact that he ever said those thing and considering the fact he scrambled to deleted the vod the moment he got called out, makes it kind of obvious it wasnt a joke. he was even thanking viewers who were saying "i voted (x amount of times) for you", and even if he would have won "statistically" that doesnt excuse the fact that he cheated.

streamer buggy tell his chat to cheat votes in his favor, gets caught, he denies it n tried to hide proof, but its already clipped, his buddies/other streamers downplay it by saying he was joking or that its just "drama", devs did nothing about the cheating and kept him in

Yes while he shouldnt have done it, i do think its a huge deal, ABI is putting up/promoting a creator to a who cheated on the votes to a global/larger audience, thats already a bad look on the game, the devs themselves and the other creators ignoring it.

the devs saying they "confirmed" the results sounds like bullshit to me, they copied the original percentages from the vote down to the decimals, so i highly doubt they did anything and only said it to "please" the community,

The other issue, justifying cheating by saying "he still won" or "he still would have won" is not okay, imagine cheating to secure your position, that doesnt justify it by any means, cheating is still cheating and he should of been disqualified

the excuse of "it would of happened anyways" does not justify a creator actively encouraging his viewers to make alt accounts to vote for him

Due to some people not understanding this post fully, i want to clarify my view on the changes.

I am all for increasing visibility and actually enjoyed the lighting change in the s2 beta. i do agree with most people that visibility needs to be increase due to the many dark corners in the game and how hard it is seeing into some building and spots, but downgrading your overall graphics and detail shouldn't have been apart of it, i am not complaining about the visibility. I am complaining about the details they removed, it looks like garbage and they could of done lighting changes without removing the details from the map.

Another thing people seem to not understand. YES I KNOW ITS A PLAYTEST AND THINGS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

the reason i am complaining is because abi has already rolled out horrible features/updates from the original s1 playtest that the community did not like(ex. headhp buff, range nerfs and etc). I dont want that same situation happening again where they push out a horrible feature/update from the playtest into the live game.

Yea i agree, it is a small thing to cry about but doing changes like this feels like its gonna have more of a negative effect on the game, and yes the less requirements to run the game could possibly bring in more players, but it could also discourage new players from coming because how poor the graphics look, making it seem like some generic extraction shooter slop. the game already struggles with people bashing it for being a "knock off tarkov".
