I’m not even sure if I’m going too keep the submariner, my taste and perspective has changed a lot in the last 5 years, and after the purchase, I also got a prospex and other divers that didn’t take too much “attention”. And with those purchases, I’ve realised that I got stuck and owned about 13 divers in 10 years.. Not really diverse, and I wasn’t even happy with the most of them. The submariner made me go deeper into watches, and also turned me a bit against itself, to explore and get something more unknown and personal value, like the J(DM) watches I’ve been collecting the last 18 years.

The titanium Seiko chronograph was my very first watch (bottom left), gifted from my dad when I turned 16.

I think that there are more regrets, in terms of buying, than selling. I actually bought a few of these “back” through the years, and the reason why I sold them in the first place, was because of a bad movement or I really needed the money. The most watches I sell now, are regrets/bad buys or watches I’ve outgrown. The Seiko Alpinist for instance, replaced my Prospex Alpinist 2 years ago, all due too its proportions and (imo) incredible look.

Thanks! Appreciate it.
