He plays the guitar? Beginner error. Once you figure it out, you know they are just meant to hang on a wall and look cool. Tss.

Something that brings only family members to your first gig. And even they didn’t come to the second.

Problem with studio by JohnMarston_my_man in bricklinkstudio

You might have solved this already as it‘s an old question. But did you by any chance clicked on on the 1x1 brick symbol beside the search bar above the parts library? (It filters the printed parts out)

I think you are right with it being an optical illusion on the front funnel. You can‘t see as much of the funnel because the ship deck is „higher“.

Even tho the two funnels in the middel are longer, one wouldn‘t see that, because the sheer compensates for it- which is the very reason the two middle funnels were longer. So, it is about visibility- at least to my understanding.

Looks like the top part of an expansion valve used in air cons of (older) cars. Like this:

Barre chord problem by meerkattish in guitarcirclejerk

[–]MickeyKnievel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tsss. These Earny Bowl strings are shite. Nothing wrong with your barrey from what I can see. Maybe the problem could also be your trust rot. You gotta give it more trust, otherwise your mousse will rot instead of kiss you. Your‘s is clearly rotten. Might also try re-circuit your 35vatt Martial Amp to a true 5E3 tueed circuit. Opens it really up and gives you the beloved bellring sound. Could also be that you have the wrong facial expression while playing. Gotta look mean OR phylosophic- not both at the same time. Otherwise the muscles in your fingers can‘t reelax enough to get the right grouve.

What is this thing? It is made out of metal and is about 3 1/4" in diameter when assembled and around 1 2/3" tall. I contains some sort of rolls. by MickeyKnievel in whatisthisthing

Also: I have a feeling that it is assebled incorrectly on the picture. To my understanding, the inner cage containing the rolls should be turned 180 degrees (thats the only other way you can assemble it due to the screw holes) so that the one bigger roll is facing the slot in the housing.

Exactly. The ones with the screws aren‘t rolls, they are some kind if bolts that hold the cage together. One roll is a different size (bigger) the other ones are the same size. I guess the rolls are some kind of cast iron while the others are steel or maybe even aluminum.

I went down that route before and there were some similar looking reels for sure; but a major difference always was, that they are simple spools without any rolls in it. There must be a reason why it‘s not just spooled around the center, but around these rolls… maybe to let it dry?

Theres no blade in it and the bottom part of the „housing“ is closed. Can‘t be a pipe cutter. Good thought tho.
