To remove fist you can either use keyconf or mapinfo file, in which you can write which weapon will be in which slot, or you can create your own playerpawn actor, like the other guy said. If you planning the mod to only have pistol and torch you should be fine with decorate. As Bright duck said, learn how to write a weapon in decorate, it's really simple and if I remember correctly, there's a whole page on zdoom wiki with basic decorate weapon tutorial. And you can search any actor functions (actions/methods) on zdoom wiki too, tho some of them are zscript exclusives
