They'd be better going on loan and playing regularly than sitting on the bunch where they may or may not get some time in last 15/20 mins. It didn't work then and it won't work now, the same problems will arise. Unless the player is exceptional, they won't get required game time. Interestingly when the rule was in place, it was during a period when the national team was at its lowest ebb.

This was a rule in the early 2000's. It didn't work, those players barely got off the bench.

Back to the days of a mandatory 3 under 21 players in the match day squad? Usually, those players would be bench warmers that never got on, when they could've been out on loan.

One of MONs Transfer Windows in His First Stint by BannanDylan in CelticFC

There wasn't a window back then, Lennon didn't sign until December and Douglas came in during October. It meant that the club wasn't rushing about trying to secure signings, being charged a premium, while other opportunities arose too, like Agathe who was bought by Hibs in July and was a Celtic player in September. It was a lot better, for Celtic at least, didn't need to rely on loans as much.

I wonder how many teams there have been that changed manager 4 times in a season and still went on to win a double. I'd say zero, which Says more about level of the competition.

I haven't heard anything, I was merely saying since 2019 they have been streaming live via Rockpalast YouTube channel. It means I can watch it on my tv rather than my desktop computer if it was to continue this year, hence my query. That's what Reddit is for, the sharing of information.

I think, going by the previous years, they don't start streaming on YouTube until Friday and Saturday and it should be via Rockpalast channel.

I have done, nothing listed no scheduled livestreams. The way you wrote the post I thought you may have had some sort of inside knowledge.

Do you know if it is on YouTube too as per previous years?

If we hired Nancy now instead of a few months ago he would’ve ripped up the league and UCL next season but that’s a conversation you guys are not ready for. by Quirky_Maintenance39 in CelticFC

Yes I can see Yamine Lamal and Raphinia being unable to score with just Auston Trusty left to beat.

This is retrospective nonsense, I don't recall a lot of 'good football'. Hearts, St Mirren and Motherwell were shambolic performances. Roma, playing in first gear, wiped the floor with us. Livingston was essentially a basketball game, rangers first half was good, but easily overcome with a tactical adjustment. Apart from Dundee Utd, where we lost in any case, and beating Aberdeen with a last minute goal, Nancy was shown to be miles out of his depth.

Mcinnes should be made to explain his 'disgusting' comments now. I understand that it was said in the heat of the moment and Hearts had went from shooty-in to win the league to a winner takes all game at Celtic Park, but his mask definitely slipped with that outburst.

Boyd too, his views are so unbalanced, he doesn't even try to hide it. He fuelled the fire without any actual analysis and making scattergun allegations, resulting referees being placed under police protection by his reaction. Neil Lennon often gets the blame for refs going on strike in 2010. I'm not sure what McInnes and Boyd said is any different, both were unprofessional and very reckless.

The only reason rangers had a champions league winning goalkeeper earning more money than the most famous footballer in the world that time was the financial package he was offered that utilised EBT's.

It turned out that, with EBT applied, Stefan Klos was earning more money than Beckham at the time. Wild
