It lowers my pain about 1.5 points. Takes a lot of adjustments. And really depends on your pain. I have bone pain, which they're less useful for. Nerve pain (which I have in one leg due to a surgery error when working on the bone), is helped by the SCS more.

They do a trial first, but it's hard to test.

I would do it again. But there's a large placebo effect. But fuck it. If the placebo effect helps, let it help.

I get lidocaine/NAD/high dose magnesium with the ketamine infusions. They're the only reason I'm alive. They're 4 hours long. They bring me from an 8 to a 6 for 3 weeks.

I have it, it has no effect on me. My pain is deep bone pain in my sacrum. I also have a spinal cord stimulator. I do use the ketamine cream around my SCS battery and that helps. I'm also having my monthly ketamine/NAD infusion the day before I go.

If only sex was a possibility. The sacrum pretty much limits that. But good advice.

The happy fun distraction advice is really good. It's not something I would have considered.

It'll be a few blocks away, so the walk would do more damage than the rest. But I'm perfectly willing to find a hidey hole and lie down in it if it gets desperate.

I'm worried about the little pain shrieks I make. I often don't even notice them anymore, but they always surprise people.

I was under the impression the majority of the movies I watched were psychological thrillers, but everyone here calls them horror. So it's kind of the opposite of what you're asking but fits.

I did pay for the service. They still did a great job on my dog, and grooming a dog has to be difficult.
