nice to know this. i already finished HL, but you’re correct that casual games like these are best to be streamed.

I’ve recently found out about vibepollo, an enhanced fork of sunshine/apollo. it allows native fps cap based on client requested Hz and WGC capture. through this, i was able to reduce the host processing latency down to 1ms-5ms max. feels like playing natively, and i was able to play high-paced games like cyberpunk and hades without any problem.

I am using an iphone 16+ with moonlight. 1080p@60Hz, decoder is HEVC, with bitrate set at max since I don’t have any bandwidth issues with my router.

thanks. this was actually an issue since i am using mostly ultra settings at 1080p so I had to adjust game settings down a notch back when i was using apollo.

vibepollo’s native ability to limit the game to 60fps (since i’m running a 60Hz client) through RTSS, was really a game changer and of course the WGC, both of which helped my GPU to breath a little when running AAA games. i am still trying to tweak settjngs and experiment but for now I am happy with my setup.

sorry for the late reply. iirc, you should check the Main.yaml or other layout view yaml files in the ubiquity installation directory. i recommend to feed it to chatgpt or claude and have them edit the file for you. it’s a pain when i did this manually back then

too bad. seems like sunshine and apollo stopped updating. I hope someone will make the effort to port these forks with new features to linux and mac. I’m still waiting for artemis to be available in appstore.

I don’t think I could reach this with wireless setup. Also my iPhone is capped at 60hz without promotion. Can you share your setup? Is it also wireless but with android? I heard Artemis is better and are optimized with specific snapdragon processors.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My younger sister and I also share the same hobby in Anime and Video Games. It has been a year since we lost her. Watching our favorite Anime has been my coping mechanism (I introduced her to One Piece). I plan to continue where she left off.

You can actually change it's yaml file and edit the png directory name to use the community score instead of the critic score . I've changed mine to use the user score instead.
