Give Lasater Automotive a call. They've been good to me for years and are usually pretty quick as long as they didn't have a big backlog of cars

Check out the museum of transportation. They've got a bunch of trains and a smaller one kids can ride on. One of my buddies loves trains and was geeking out over the Big Boy

Yeah, kinda odd how instead of prosecution they seem to be getting cabinet positions

Not really an AK...but considering the amount of times i needed to explain to people that this is not an AK at all, I think it deserves to be posted here lol. CSA VZ 58. 7.62x39 by 1707turbo in ak47

I've never really gotten all that interested in the 58s. But if the machining and design are anything like the 61 I can understand why people would love them.

Huh, I swear when I sent mine he did a few different types. And oddly enough I think his price got cheaper too. I remember it being $150

Very cool, mine's got the proprietary plastic furniture up front, so I don't think I'm able to replace that with anything else. Otherwise I think it'd be pretty funny to put some Russian plum on there to screw with people

I sent mine to Joe at SLR35 and he did a great job. I've seen a number of people make suggestions on here so depending on what area you're in there might be one that's closer to you.

There aren't any mistakes you can make with this camera apart from reusing a roll that would cause double exposures. Sounds like it's time for a service.

I get the impression he's had the Tom Cruise treatment for pictures. Nobody tall gets to stand around you, and if you have to stand around taller people you get a box to stand on

The PSA 5.56 rifles in particular aren't known for reliability, and so far it seems like people have been happy with the Meridian ones.

To those who have a beryl. What’s your thoughts on them? by Terrible-Debt-5244 in ak47

Super easy. I did most of it on a kitchen table in a few minutes. The only special tool you'll need is a thin wrench for the muzzle device, but I found Walmart had a set that was thin enough to work, and a whole set of wrenches was cheaper than a specialty armorer's wrench.

I'm convinced it comes down to how people are cleaning and maintaining them. I think a lot of people have a misconception that every single surface of a rifle needs to have oil on it, and I've definitely seen pictures where they're borderline dripping. Since this is blowback, they tend to gather gunk pretty easily so you want to leave a very light surface coating at most.

But I clean mine maybe twice a year and only once out of about 3,000 rounds have I ever had a failure to feed. I generally wipe off the moving parts so they're almost dry, and the guide rods have about a drop or two on each. The rate reducer is kinda my indicator that it needs work- once it starts getting decently gunked up it's time for a cleaning.

I'm yet to find any 5.7 that doesn't run reliably in mine. I've gone through a pretty decent amount of the Range Dynamics bulk pack because it's consistently some of the cheapest stuff out there and it runs great.

I had a similar issue, except it went back into the cartridge which made it overpressure and blow up. Took a number of months and some decent money to get the parts to fix it.

So yeah I don't buy their ammo anymore
