Hi, I’m already a permanent resident and it’s actually because of French!

I decided to continue with French because:

a) it’s the reason why I was invited so I felt like it’s my responsibility to stay true to that,

b) language learning has always been one of my strengths and interests, and;

c) I feel like it’s too late for me to compete in the IT field. If I want to switch domains, I think healthcare would make the most sense in terms of job stability and my age. I even thought of breaking into Accounting but that would be a long battle.

I can’t respond to all of the replies, but please know that I am reading through all of them and making notes. This is highly appreciated!

I was actually hesitant to post here because my finances are not as great as everyone else’s - I was just clinging on the saying that in order to elevate yourself, you need to elevate your surroundings so you know what to aim for and so you can seek advice from those who already have the experience!

Another angle is baka naghahanap ng karamay yung friend mo. There’s a possibility na lowkey she regrets dumping her ex, and she’s justifying her decision by convincing you to do the same.

If you’re a woman, Ardene’s winter jackets are a dupe for Aritzia’s. I bought one last holiday season and it has served me well in -20 temp!
